High Maintenance: Ep 1
“Nishi, you’re like my best friend ever, you know that na. I didn’t want to shop with that bitch Sonali, ya.”
“I know ya. I mean, she ditched us last week over that bitch. Serves her.”
“Oh! I’m so done with her ya. Last Saturday, when we were getting our nails done, she chose pink, even when I said purple would suit her. I mean, I have a blog ya. Doesn't she know?”
“I know babe! Forget about her. Let’s not ruin our experience. Remember, Zara has a sale today.”
“Ya, I even got a card from my dad. I mean I never do that, of course. I haven't increased the limit on mine for a year. But, this sale is eeeeep!”
Super Fashionable blog with a standard SoBo name by Mindy
In case you do not have much money, like me and always have to wait for sales to buy at the high-end stores, the Zara sale is here. The all-white collection with shades of suede, cream, and beige just dominate the store like the smell of fresh coffee. I know it sounds very deep and romantic and everything, but I just love fashion so much.
So, today at my very modest Zara sale haul, I bought 6 dresses, 4 shirts, 2 pairs of shoes, and 3 pairs of pants.
Mindy talks about her simple life now, with her diary
I don’t understand Dhruv, ya. He was my best friend. We were so close. But ever since he’s got that girl in his life, he’s forgotten about me. He cared so much about me. I shared everything with him. He was such a good FRIEND. And now that girl has ruined everything. I don’t think she likes me either. But, who cares?
Today was a cheat day as I had one chocolate pastry with my salad lunch. I know I have to maintain my figure and everything, but Salman insisted, and I couldn’t say no. Yes, it's official now, and he’s the best thing that ever happened to me. I know it’s only been a week, but it’s perfect. I don’t even wanna talk about my last boyfriend. Such a jerk. All of these guys just want me for my breasts, but I'm so much more than that. So glad Salman is not like the others. I'll write a blog about this tomorrow. I'm more than my breasts. Yes!
I’ll have to do more push ups at the gym tomorrow, though. Because you know my mother, don’t you?
Now I’m going to talk about her
While Mindy is writing all of this, her mother walks in.
“Mindy, did you spend only an hour at the gym today?” “Yeah, mom. But there was a sale at Zara.” “I don’t want that ass in my house. You’re still a size 3. If you want to be a model, you have to make the cut.”
“But, mom ya!”
“I’m late for my Zumba class. I don’t want to get a call from your trainer tomorrow.”
